Curacao

Good morning everyone. This photo is what you usually will see on a cruise. Food , food & more food.  There's ice cream is there from day to night. As I went to get my breakfast, a guy past by eating an ice cream cone. Wow! On the back of the ship there is a pizza joint. Dance & drink late into the night and pick up some pizza before you go to your cabin to sleep. Burp!!!

CURACAO

 Entering Curacao

MaryLou being welcomed into this beautiful place.

 Curacao's floating, moveable bridge.
How do they do it???

Ta Dah! The bridge floats on many small boats and entire bridge can be moved.

After walking across the bridge, we walked around the place and stopped and sat down and had a cool drink. It was very hot at Curacao that day.

These are a couple of pictures I took as we walked back to the ship.

As I was walking back to the Vista, I decided to take a full photo of this beautiful ship,
We arrived at Curacao at around 2:00pm and we left at 10:00pm so wasn't able to get a photo leaving Curacao.

Next port is ARUBA. See you then.

  1. That moveable bridge is amazing! Curacao is beautiful and looks like an interesting place to roam around.

I would be in heaven with ice cream available morning to night. Everyone I know who cruises raves about the food. It must really be something special.

    1. The first time were in Curacao, we almost got stuck on the bridge for some time. Lucky for us, we had just walked off and it started to move. Yes my friend, you would be in heaven if you love ice cream. See ya Jean.

  2. I've not been there. Looks like a good place to visit. I also remember all the food. The last cruise hubby and I were on we spent an hour each morning on the treadmill. It sure helped.

Have a fabulous day, Paul. ☺

    1. I totally enjoyed the many different colored buildings. You would love the place and the Vista, well there are close to 4000 visitors and 1500 workers on the ship. Even though there are a lot of people, you aren't pressured with so many people.

  4. Loved that port. I only like the strawberry ice cream and they don't have that every day so it's not too hard for me. Lol
